Karina Stolp

Specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics

As a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics with an additional qualification in nutritional medicine (DGE/DAEM), I care for women at every stage of life. After studying and completing my doctorate at Hannover Medical School, I gained experience in both hospital and outpatient settings. I take a holistic approach to women’s health, combining gynaecological expertise with nutritional medicine, prevention and longevity medicine. I take the time to listen to your questions and concerns.

Career

  1. 2014

    Studies and doctorate · MHH

I studied medicine at Hannover Medical School, where I also completed my doctorate. During this time, I increasingly realised how important it was to me to work closely with patients and support them medically over the longer term.

  2. 2015

    Basic surgical training

My basic surgical training took me first to Asklepios Klinik Nord and subsequently to Regio Klinikum Pinneberg. There, I gained valuable clinical and surgical experience and learned to work calmly and systematically, even in challenging situations.

  3. 2016

    Specialist training

In 2016, I began my specialist training in gynaecology and obstetrics at Klinikum Itzehoe. From the outset, I particularly valued being able to care for women throughout very different stages of life – from preventive care and contraception to pregnancy and other gynaecological concerns.

  4. 2021

    Outpatient women’s medicine

As a doctor in specialist training at the Dres. Grossmann gynaecology practice in Hannover, I experienced outpatient women’s healthcare from a new perspective. I particularly valued being able to care for patients over a longer period of time and having more space in everyday practice for personal conversations and individual concerns.

  5. 2024

    Board certification

In 2024, I successfully completed my specialist examination in gynaecology and obstetrics. After working in a variety of hospital and outpatient settings, this was an important milestone and provided the foundation for developing my own areas of focus within women’s health.

  6. 2024

    Nutritional Medicine (DGE/DAEM)

With my additional qualification in nutritional medicine, I expanded my medical focus to include an important aspect of preventive medicine. In women’s health in particular, hormonal, metabolic and nutritional factors are often closely interconnected and can be considered together.

  7. 2024

    Privatpraxis Hannover Mitte

I joined the team at Privatpraxis Hannover Mitte in 2024. Alongside gynaecology, my work here also focuses on preventive and longevity medicine. This combination allows me not only to support my patients with acute concerns, but also to take a long-term view of their health together with them.
