For more than twenty years I have been caring for patients in plastic, aesthetic and hand surgery. My particular focus is on lympho-vascular conditions and oedema – a field I have devoted myself to since my doctorate at the University of Cologne. Start of surgical training

General and vascular surgery at Porz-am-Rhein Hospital in Cologne. Focus on the lymphatic system and oedema. Doctorate at the University of Cologne.
2006
Microsurgery and research

Further training in neurosurgery at Hannover Medical School (MHH). Research at the Institute for Functional and Applied Anatomy.
2009
Plastic and reconstructive surgery

Clinical surgical work in the department of plastic, aesthetic, hand and reconstructive surgery.
2013
Board certification

Successful completion of the specialist examination in plastic and aesthetic surgery.
2015
Senior physician

Moved to Helios Klinikum Hildesheim as a senior physician.
2018
Founding of the private practice

Opened with a focus on lympho-vascular conditions and oedema.
